Import member Start and End dates

I can export member Start and End dates using 'Own List', but can't find a way to import the same? We have an annual membership that has to be renewed, but to have to change that one member at a time on an initial import is very time consuming. Other than a MySQL database import, are there any plans in the future or methods to get this import done? It would be an excellent feature add.....thanks.
