problems loggin in from an Apple Mac

I have been setting up Admidio on a remote server using a Windows 10 PC and Chrome browser
I suggested to various members of our charity that they log in to have a look.
Those using Windows seem to be able to login, but two members with Apple Mac laptops say that they can't
"The given username and/or password is incorrect."

I have been assured that they are using the correct login and password which I created.
On my PC, I have tried Firefox and Edge - both work as they should.
I have also tried logging in from my iPhone 6. I could login and see the Overview screen.

Could there be a problem with Apple Macs?

Forget this post! I inadvertantly gave the two guys with MACs the wrong login!
Having then googled for the problem I found pages suggesting that Apple were removing support for PHP from MACs but on reflection, that should not affect systems on remote servers.
